For Love And Money Conference
In 2017 we were lucky enough to receive funding from Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy to develop the For Love And Money conference and network building event. The conference itself was held on January 25th 2018 and brought together amazing speakers, workshop leaders and artists and organisations from all over the UK to learn how to increase their fundraising potential and how to build and sustain stronger networks.
The event was held at Ashcroft Arts Centre who kindly allowed us to use the entire venue all day for the cost of theatre hire, and Fareham Community Church kindly provided catering at cost price to support our event.
The speakers and workshop leaders all provided their services for free, although we covered travel and hotel expenses; as did the compere (our Cheif Exec suffered a miscarriage days before so could not host as planned and a replacement had to be drafted in at short notice). We were lucky enough to have the services of a graphic note-taker also condensing all the talks and discussions for the audiences.
The day was a phenomenal success, the speakers were amazing and on-point, the breakout sessions varied and genuinely helpful, and the networking session really created new relationships between delegates. In short we couldn’t of been any happier with how the day went.
