A Song to Celebrate the Queen

As part of our JUBILATION project, we will be running two workshops with acclaimed Hampshire-based singer-songwriter, musician, and workshop leader, Jim Chorley.

These two sessions will be run at SPACE Fareham in the lead-up to the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend this June.  Each session is 1hr45 mins long and young people will work collaboratively with Jim to write a song for the Queen.

They will perform their creation at the end of the second session for family, friends, and others.

This is a session for children 9 and over.  No prior experience is necessary but those who play an instrument are welcome to bring it with them!

As an arts award trainer, Jim’s sessions are eligible for our Arts Award Offer and can contribute to a higher level Arts Award.

The dates for these sessions are Saturday 28th May and Saturday 4th June 10:15am at SPACE in Osborn Mall Fareham, this is an in-person session and will include a break for the children with drinks and snacks provided (please make us aware of allergies (we are a nut free zone)
