Home » Creative Youth: Summer Sessions

We are very excited to announce our Creative Youth Summer Sessions starting on the 1st August.  These brilliant sessions have been made possible thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund Million Hours initiative to support young people over the summer holidays.  These are being held at our venue SPACE, in Fareham Shopping Centre’s Osborn Mall (next to the sweet shop and down from B &M, if coming from outside this is the Millets entrance). To keep with our ethos of making the arts accessible to all, we have decided to make these sessions completely FREE, with the chance of attaining a recongised qualification, either Arts Award Explore or, if they attend every session over the summer holidays, a Bronze Arts Award (requires additional work).

Our sessions are open to anyone aged 11 – 18, although if there is an additional need, we can accept people up to 25 (please note a carer/support worker will need to be present in this case).

Every week there will be 3 sessions within a particular art form.  Young people will be challenged and engaged to create exciting work that increases their skills and confidence, and we hope, inspire a few friendships along the way.  Every session is between 2 and 3 hours long and light refreshments will be provided.

The details of sessions are below, including expected time. It is expected that when you book on to an art form you attend all three sessions.
