Family Lantern Workshop in Half-Term Holidays

Join us for a family workshop to make your own lanterns for Fareham’s first lantern walk on Friday 27th October.  Families will get the chance to work together to create their own lanterns out of willow, rattan, or wire.  These are then covered in a special type of wet tissue paper and decorated.  Attendees will also have the opportunity to make their own rods for the lanterns.

For the youngest family members we will have small pre-made lanterns they can decorate and add a light to ready for the lantern walk.

The session starts from 2:30 and runs until 5:30pm, if you finish beforehand, we ask you return at 5:45 to assemble your lantern and then join us and others outside Three Joes for Fareham’s first lantern walk starting at 6pm
